A hidden gem with spacious rooms
One of my favorite moments was enjoying a coffee in the massive communal kitchen, which was well-stocked and inviting. The room was quite spacious with a super comfy bed that made it easy to unwind after exploring the city.
The check-in process was a bit tricky, having to fill out a form outside in the cold. the communal bathrooms might not suit everyone's expectations for privacy and convenience.

the bessemer rooms are pretty cool, the staff were friendly and super helpful. the communal kitchen is large and well-equipped, which was great for making meals. my room had a comfy bed and a fridge, so that was a nice touch. the building itself has character with its vintage style and the self check-in was quite easy. even tho it's not luxury, it's better than some hotels!
the checking in process was a bit of a hassle, having to stand outside in the cold filling out forms. also, it was annoying that the toilets are communal.

The communal kitchen is impressively massive with two cookers, making it easy to whip up a meal. The spacious rooms offer a welcoming vibe, perfect for unwinding after a long day on the go.
One downside is that the rooms aren't en-suite, which might catch some guests off guard. you have to trek to the communal bathrooms. the absence of a working lift can be inconvenient, especially if you're lugging heavy bags around. Lastly, some noise can seep through from neighboring rooms, and I even overheard some loud shouting in the halls during my stay.

The location is excellent, close to main attractions. The building has a beautiful old architecture that adds character. The room was spacious and comfortable, providing a welcoming atmosphere after a long day. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, allowing easy meal preparation and a great space for socializing.
I found it frustrating to have to fill out the entrance form outside in the cold before gaining access.

The mattress in the Double Room was a bit uncomfortable, and an unpleasant smell lingered even with the window open. the walls didn’t provide much sound insulation, making it hard to ignore neighbors’ conversations. the fine bread offered made for a delightful breakfast, and the spacious communal kitchen allowed for easy meal prep, creating a great atmosphere for socializing.
